Job Description
Our client an insurance company is looking for a Non-Life Product Actuary to support the Product & Pricing department.
He/she will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Analyzing product performance across all lines (technical results commercial performance conversion rates churn cross-selling etc.).
- Preparing and maintaining dashboards and reports (using tools like Power BI Excel SQL etc.) to monitor KPIs and identify trends or alerts.
- Conducting in-depth analyses (root cause analysis segmentation cohort analysis etc.) to explain performance variations and propose action plans.
- Collaborating with Pricing Marketing Operations IT and Finance teams to define product improvements and measure their impact.
- Participating in the launch and follow-up of new products or features (definition of success metrics A/B testing post-launch review).
- Supporting the product roadmap by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Profile
- Degree in economics commercial engineering mathematics actuarial science etc.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in product analysis performance analysis or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and Python or R for advanced analysis (a plus).
- Excellent command of data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau or similar) and Microsoft Office (especially advanced Excel).
- Experience with statistical methods segmentation and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of insurance products (non-life) and/or pricing is a strong advantage.
- Customer-oriented proactive team player with creativity and a sense of innovation.
- Good command of French or Dutch (with the desire to learn the second language if needed) and solid English
