Job Summary

Project Name: Sr. Account Manager Amazon & eCommerce 

Hourly Rate: $55

Duration: ASAP (ideally Monday 3/16!) for 3 month term with potential to convert to FTE at the end

Location: remote

Hours/week: 40

 

The Sr. Manager of Amazon eCommerce manages programs and strategic planning initiatives within a specific department of the business to ensure sales targets are met for clients selling on Amazon. This role may be dedicated to servicing one significant client or responsible for multiple clients goals and encompassing customer relations and implementation. 

 

E-commerce is a fast-paced industry and the only constant is change- we are looking for someone dynamic curious & confident to join our team as a Sr. Manager of Amazon eCommerce for our Amazon team. This role is responsible for providing strategic tactical and operational leadership on the highest a work-from-home environment to be successful you will need to learn quickly stay on top of new e-commerce trends and be a motivated independent worker. Excellent project management skills as well as poise confidence and strategic thinking go a long way in this role. Collaboration with other business management & Advantage Unified Commerce teams is crucial for success in this role as our Enterprise approach and breadth of services is key to our approach. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in the areas of Marketing/Brand Management required; MBA Degree or equivalent experience is preferred 

  • 5 years of experience full access and broad knowledge of Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central with annual revenue of $20M or ex-Amazon experience preferred 

  • 6 years of experience in a consumer product brand manager media agency  

  • Superior task management project management interpersonal written and verbal communications skills 

  • 2 years eCommerce experience understanding SEO shipping new item set up and optimizations 

  • 2 Amazon Advertising experience or 2 sponsored media certifications 

  • 0-3 years of team supervisor experience preferred 

  • 2 years of Fortune 100 brand experience preferred  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Independently manage 4-6 enterprise-tier Fortune 500 brands on Amazon 3P or 1P driving sales growth and positioning yourself as the go-to Amazon expert with a can-do attitude.  

  • Focus on sales performance and retention by exceeding agreed-upon growth targets and identifying opportunities for revenue expansion.  

  • Act as a strategic leader proactively identifying opportunities for client growth beyond standard category benchmarks.  

  • Solve challenges independently troubleshooting account issues resolving listing errors and unlocking new growth opportunities without relying on external support while prioritizing initiatives to drive sales.  

  • Conduct weekly client meetings quarterly business reviews and annual planning calls to discuss performance resolve issues refine advertising and content strategies and plan promotional activities.  

  • Optimize product listings with best-in-class SEO practices (titles bullet points descriptions backend keywords) while monitoring SEO trends and implementing updates.  

  • Implement variation and catalog management strategies to improve product discoverability and sales.  

  • Daily auditing of top sellers troubleshoot and resolve account issues including opening and managing Amazon support cases.  

  • Collaborate with Amazon contacts (account executives vendor managers) to unlock new growth opportunities for clients.  

  • Identify recommend and deploy international expansion opportunities for clients looking to sell on Amazon marketplaces outside their home country.  

  • Analyze advertising strategies and budgets (ACOS ROAS TACoS) and work closely with the advertising team to align campaigns with client goals. 

  • Support new product launches by ensuring retail readiness acquiring VINE reviews and resolving listing issues within agreed upon timeframes.  

  • Leverage A/B testing to refine content advertising and pricing strategies.  

  • Recommend creative enhancements (A Content videos premium advertising assets) to improve conversion rates.  

  • Use data and consumer insights to guide strategy and continuously optimize brand performance.  

  • Develop and execute customized growth strategies to increase visibility traffic and conversion rates for assigned brands.  

  • Independently own communication and collaboration between clients internal teams and external partners.  

  • Manage FBA and MFN logistics ensuring proper shipment creation and inventory planning to prevent stockouts.  

  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and insights to address challenges forecast growth and support strategic planning.  

  • Maintain a high client retention rate by consistently delivering value solving challenges and identifying growth opportunities ensure long-term client retention for the agency by building strong relationships demonstrating expertise and continuously adding value to their Amazon business. 

  • Articulate strategies in Amazon Vendor Negotiations for brands balancing profitability with growth making strategic recommendations. 

  • Continuously acquires and applies advanced knowledge of Amazons evolving marketplace including platform tools algorithms and process to optimize client performance and internal efficiencies. 

  • Assist with writing client agreements and statement of work documents

  • Support additional tasks as needed to ensure client success and overall agency growth by updating processes and SOPs while providing feedback to leadership. 


Qualifications :

  • Advanced Excel and strategic thinking skills 

  • Knowledge using third-party tools including Helium10 Keepa DataHawk Jungle Scout or Zonguru 

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills 

  • Strong written communication and verbal communication skills 

  • Well-organized detail-oriented and able to handle a fast-paced work environment 

  • Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships 

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
