ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Employer & Partnership Oversight
- Serve as the primary liaison between MSYEP and employer/host site partners.
- Monitor and oversee all employer partnerships to ensure alignment with program expectations and youth workforce standards.
- Develop track and manage Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and partnership agreements.
- Ensure all employer documentation is complete current and compliant prior to participant placement.
- Conduct routine and unannounced site visits to monitor worksite conditions participant engagement and adherence to program policies.
- Address and document any employer-related concerns performance issues or compliance discrepancies.
Compliance & Program Monitoring
- Ensure host sites comply with City policies labor standards and youth employment guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of employer files compliance records and site visit reports.
- Identify and escalate compliance issues to the Operational Lead as appropriate.
- Support corrective action processes when host sites fail to meet program standards.
- Assist in preparing documentation for internal audits monitoring reviews and reporting requirements.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Perform administrative duties related to employer coordination participant placement and program documentation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of all employer and participant documentation.
- Assist in scheduling orientations employer meetings and training sessions.
- Support data entry tracking systems and internal reporting mechanisms.
Payroll & Timesheet Support
- Assist the Operational Lead with reviewing and verifying participant timesheets prior to payroll submission.
- Ensure timesheets are properly signed and approved by host sites before processing.
- Identify discrepancies in attendance reporting and coordinate resolution with employers.
- Support payroll close-out procedures and documentation retention requirements.
Qualifications :
This is a 40-hour work week schedule but requires flexibility in hours (Overtime not allowed). Schedule will be flexed based on support needed and may require some evening hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Public Administration Workforce Development Business Administration Social Services or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in workforce development youth programming employer engagement or program administration.
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards documentation requirements and administrative processes.
- Excellent organizational communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to conduct site visits and maintain professional employer relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking systems.
