Our Client is building a next-generation no-code platform designed to help users create powerful applications without traditional engineering barriers. Backed by top-tier investors and operating at the forefront of AI and product innovation they are looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to help shape the future of the product and the company.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor as Engineer #1 working directly with the founders to build foundational product features influence technical direction and help define engineering culture from the start.

About the Role

As the Founding Full-Stack Engineer you will own features end-to-end across frontend backend infrastructure and AI-driven systems. You will work closely with founders and early users translating feedback into high-impact product decisions and scalable technical solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving startup environments enjoys broad ownership and is excited by the challenge of building both product and platform from zero.

What Youll Be Doing

• Work directly with the founders to design build and launch core product features
• Ship full-stack functionality that serves as foundational building blocks for user-created apps including areas such as authentication storage payments and workflow logic
• Talk directly with users to understand pain points and improve both AI functionality and overall UX
• Improve AI runtime reliability and help address edge cases in agentic or AI-assisted workflows
• Contribute to prompt engineering and evaluation workflows to improve output quality in both functionality and design
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and infrastructure capable of supporting millions of production applications
• Rapidly prototype iterate and refine features based on real-world user feedback
• Help establish early engineering standards best practices tooling and team culture

What Were Looking For

• 3 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack engineering experience with React TypeScript and
• Demonstrated ability to ship production features end-to-end
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to take ideas from concept through implementation and launch
• High level of autonomy and comfort working with ambiguity in an early-stage environment
• Strong product intuition and care for user experience performance and product polish
• Ability to move quickly while maintaining sound technical judgment and quality

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a builder with a founding-engineer mentality someone excited to create systems from the ground up and take broad ownership across the stack.

Candidates may lean in one of two directions:

Infrastructure / Backend Leaning

• Strong experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure
• Comfortable designing operating and scaling backend systems in production
• Experience with scalability reliability and infrastructure tooling

Frontend Leaning

• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks and frontend architecture
• Background as a design-oriented engineer or someone who deeply values UI/UX quality
• Experience building advanced frontend systems such as editors platform components or framework-level features is a plus

Day-to-Day

In this role you can expect to:

• Build directly alongside the founders
• Develop user-facing features for early customers
• Create and maintain backend systems and infrastructure
• Improve AI-powered product workflows and integrations
• Move quickly from idea to production with strong ownership
• Wear multiple hats in a high-impact startup environment
• Continuously refine the product based on customer feedback and company priorities

Team & Collaboration

You will report directly to the founders and work closely with them on product architecture engineering priorities and technical decision-making. As an early member of the team you will play a major role in shaping not just the codebase but also the future engineering organization.
