Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool and make a difference for our patients and our community.

Float Pool RNs will work on a variety of inpatient clinical units:

Med/Surg RNs will care for patients in orthopedics rehabilitation oncology cardiology observation medicine neurology surgical trauma burn and postpartum.

Progressive RNs will care for progressive patients in cardiac medicine burn trauma neurology and surgical.

As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Regions Hospital supports nurses with an individualized orientation including Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support learning role transition and retention of nurses. All new hire registered nurses at Regions Hospital will be automatically enrolled. Our award-winning programs give our patients and their families a place of comfort and healing. Work Schedule:0.70 Evening/Night. Mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts. Every 3rd weekend rotation.

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or Associate Degree in Nursing and 1 year of RN experience

-Internal new graduate applicants can meet minimum requirements with an Associate Degree in Nursing

-Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
-CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
-Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and strong ability to work with a wide range of patients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:

-BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
-One year of acute care RN experience is preferred
