Position Summary:

A manufacturing plant manager oversees daily operations ensuring production targets are met efficiently safely and within budget. Key responsibilities includemanaging production schedules optimizing resource allocation maintaining quality standards enforcing safety regulations managing budgets and leading staff.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning coordinating and managing daily operations to meet production targets while ensuring product quality.
  • Ensuring adherence to health safety and environmental regulations (e.g. OSHA) as well as implementing safety procedures to create a safe work environment.
  • Creating maintaining and managing operating budgets reducing costs and improving efficiency.
  • Allocating resources effectively including managing materials inventory and labor to optimize production.
  • Hiring training mentoring and supervising staff including production supervisors and line workers.
  • Utilizing data analysis to identify waste improve processes and enhance productivity.
  • Ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained and repaired to prevent downtime.
