Processing storage and infusion preparation of hematopoietic stem cells donor lymphocytes immune effector cells & other cellular therapy products in support of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program
Training & maintaining competencies of immune cell analysis via flow cytometry plasma/RBC reductions cell selections cell expansions cryopreservation thawing and quality control testing as part of product release
Receiving Handling Storing Transporting & Administering externally manufactured products
Manufacturing novel cellular therapy products (CAR-T TILs Mesenchymal Stem Cells etc.) for Jefferson Investigator-initiated clinical trials
Developing & Implementing new research protocols laboratory SOPs & validation assays in collaboration with Jefferson Physicians/Investigators for expanding cellular therapeutic needs
Maintaining patient records per GDPs both on paper and in computer databases
Performing environmental monitoring of laboratory spaces equipment and supplies
Participating in On-call service and Responding to Alarms Notifications regarding patient sample storage
Interacting with Patients Physicians Nursing Staff Quality Assurance Staff and Administrative teams
Interacts with co-workers visitors and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital
Educational/Training Requirements: Bachelors Degree in biology medical technology laboratory science or equivalent scientific field required.
Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience working in a clinical or research lab or equivalent GMP/GLP setting (Required). Minimum 1 year experience working with tissue culture techniques flow cytometry and/or molecular biological assays (Preferred). Experience using MS Office including Word Excel (Required).
