DIRECTOR OF BUDGET & ANALYSIS
Bridgewater College is looking for a thoughtful data-driven professional to help guide the Colleges financial this role youll partner closely with the Vice President for Finance and campus leaders to turn data into clear strategic decisions.

WHAT YOULL DO:
- Lead the Colleges annual budgeting process from planning through implementation
- Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support leadership decisions
- Turn complex data into clear actionable insights and presentations
- Support long-term financial planning tied to institutional goals
- Monitor budget performance and communicate trends across campus
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Student Accounts
- Serve as a key resource within the Finance team
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
- 5 years of relevant experience (higher ed or nonprofit a plus)
- Strong skills in financial modeling and analysis
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial audiences
- Experience with Excel and financial systems (Ellucian Colleague a plus)
- Organized detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities

GENERAL INFORMATION: Bridgewater College was founded in 1880 as a coeducational liberal arts college to serve the local community. Located in the scenic Shenandoah Valley just minutes outside of Harrisonburg and within driving distance of Charlottesville Washington D.C. and Richmond Bridgewater is home to a total student body of approximately 1450 from 27 states and 19 countries. Bridgewater students study more than 60 majors and minors in addition to four graduate programs and 10 pre-professional programs.
