Your Role as the Physical Therapist Assistant
As a full-time PTA you will help residents regain mobility independence and confidence.
Responsibilities include:
i. Implementing and progressing treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising Physical Therapist
ii. Delivering skilled therapy interventions focused on mobility balance and functional independence
iii. Treating residents across the continuum of care: short-term rehab long-term care assisted living independent living and outpatient
iv. Collaborating with physical therapists occupational therapists speech therapists nursing staff and physicians
v. Participating in interdisciplinary care planning and transition meetings
vi. Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and program development
vii. Supporting clinical education and mentorship opportunities within the department

Basic Qualifications
