Hours: 5 8-Hour Shifts per Week

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join a hospital-based Radiology team. The technologist will perform a variety of MRI exams while ensuring patient safety comfort and high-quality diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Siemens MRI scanners and performing routine Neurological Body and Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging.

This contract assignment offers 1326 week options and is open to technologists with strong MRI experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols
Operate Siemens MRI systems to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Perform routine Neuro Body and MSK imaging procedures
Screen and prepare patients for MRI safety and compatibility
Accurately position patients to achieve optimal imaging results
Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to clinical needs
Maintain accurate documentation in the Radiology Information System (RIS) / EMR
Follow all patient safety infection control and imaging protocols
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support patient care

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
ARRT (MR) Certification Required
AHA BLS Certification Required
Experience with Siemens MRI scanners

Technical Experience
MRI Systems: Siemens Vida Aera Skyra Avanto
Imaging Types: Neurological Body and Musculoskeletal (MSK)
Cardiac MRI experience not required.
