Job Summary

About the role

Operations Team Leads are often working team leads who both run equipment or perform other in-role duties while also assisting managers in coordinating schedules optimizing workflows training less experienced team members and resolving more difficult or complex manufacturing issues. They often act as subject matter experts for their department by answering questions providing information or sharing best practices in achieving production goals. Individuals in these roles help monitor and assess team performance act as role models help to implement and lead change and foster collaboration across departments and shifts. They assist department supervisors/managers in upholding quality control processes optimizing production ensuring adherence to standardized operating procedures and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • This is an on-site position.

  • Maintain safety standards and uphold standardized operating procedures to ensure a secure and efficient production environment.

  • Assist managers in coordinating production schedules and optimizing workflows to achieve site goals.

  • Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members acting as a subject matter expert for the department.

  • Monitor and assess team performance while resolving difficult or complex manufacturing issues as they arise.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and uphold quality control processes to optimize production outputs.

Fluency in Spanish is required for this role with proficient English communication skills (both written and verbal).


Qualifications :

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in running production equipment and coordinate team activities in a manufacturing setting.

  • Strong subject matter expertise in production processes with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Proven ability to train and mentor others while fostering a collaborative environment across different shifts.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively share best practices and provide performance input.

  • Strong decision-making skills and an ability to implement and lead change within a dynamic operations team.
