We have an internal opportunity for a Head of Human Resources
Hours -part-time 30 hours a week flexible working pattern.
Salary - Starting Salary 40777 full time equivalent
The main purpose of the job is to work across the Organisation to align HR strategy and legislation with St Martins goals.
You will do this by:
- Developing and delivering a people strategy aligned with organisational goals
- Having a hands on role supporting Heads of and Managers with range of HR topics including employee relations employee engagement and managing performance
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements
- Overseeing recruitment and retention strategies
- Championing equality diversity and inclusion across the organisation
- Leading mentoring and developing the HR team
- Providing practical timely and relevant advice to managers and heads of in line with all legal and legislative requirements with all aspects of the employment life cycle.
- Contribute to organisational development and culture change initiatives
- Monitoring HR metrics and providing reports
- By acting collaboratively with other SMT and the Leadership team members in order to promote the operational effectiveness of the organisations services in accordance with the aims policies & procedures of St Martins
We are looking for:
- Qualified to CIPD level 3 as a minimum (desirable level CIPD level 5)
- 3 plus years working at an operational level within an HR role and comprehensive understanding of employment law
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- A track record of leading organisational change
- Experience of managing a varied staff team and providing them with full support and supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
