Security Operations Network Security Analyst (Fortinet + L3 Support)

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Security Operations - Network Security Analyst IT located in Chennai location.

Reporting to the Senior Manager and the role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• monitoring systems and networks for intrusions attacks and unusual activity

• use available analytic tools to identify emerging threats or intrusion patterns

• monitoring access management and audit periodically those permissions for all managed security solutions; perform periodically system restoration drills

• preserve the integrity of IT infrastructure through the firewall policies manage those policies and keep only relevant policies in place

• implement improvements to network operations though a change management process.

• execute daily tasks necessary for business continuity

• identify diagnose and solve network issues as they arise and swiftly troubleshoot and address them by implementing required adjustments to security solutions under the scope.

• deploying and resolving issues related to network traffic decryption

• manage the companys certificate management solution

• collaborate with other teams to properly configure and manage the network monitoring solutions with different types of SPAN SNMP or other such integrations

The experience were looking to add to our team:

• Bachelors degree or Masters degree in IT or related fields.

• 8-12Years of experience in Network Security & SOC.

• Possess proficient skills in configuring and troubleshooting various routers switches firewalls and wireless controller models with expertise particularly in Fortinet Cisco and Palo Alto.

• Experience with data mining and analysis

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy and problem-solving skills

• Basic familiarity with cloud security principles for AWS Azure and/or GCP is advantageous.

• Basic Knowledge with MS PKI and Public CA provisioning solutions such as DigiCert is advantageous.

• Shift (11am 8pm / 2pm 11pm) / Flexible
