Role Purpose
We are looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to join our Finance Operations Team.
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for managing and delivering on system & process change initiatives within the Finance Division.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract.
Accountabilities of the Role
Support the development and maintenance of positive working relationships with colleagues across the Finance Operations Division and the wider business.
Support the analysis of payroll instruction requests and help track monthly completion rates.
Help prepare and update premium collection analysis across different services employers and policy types.
Assist the team with improvements to current processes by providing accurate information completing administration tasks and helping to document changes.
Work with members of the Finance Operations team to investigate and help resolve cases where incorrect premiums have been received.
Assist with reconciling premium transactions checking data and following up on any discrepancies.
Help co-ordinate monthly reports to identify and capture missed premiums including gathering data and checking for completeness.
Carry out other administrative duties and support on projects as required.
Skills & Knowledge Required
Strong business acumen with a good understanding of organisational issues and challenges.
Proficient Microsoft office.
Strong analysis reporting and numeracy skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and report into management on a regular basis.
Ability to work within a pressurised environment taking ownership for delivery.
Knowledge of risk control & regulatory environment.
Commercial awareness.
Qualified Financial Advisor a distinct advantage.
Excellent organisational skills.
Strong problem solving and route cause identification skills.
Team player & collaborative.
