Your Role:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for monitoring evaluating and improving service quality across NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan programs. This role supports regulatory compliance quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities. The position works closely with leadership and program staff to identify deficiencies implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with CARF standards LARA regulations and AFC requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops implements and maintains specific evaluation processes and systems for the assessment of services and the correction of deficiencies identified in the assessment
- Monitors and evaluates outcomes for persons served through retrospective and concurrent review of care activities utilization review and risk management processes
- Establishes criteria for the highest achievable quality standards as it relates to all LARA AFC regulations and guidelines and works to ensure that all services are in compliance
- Knows understands and implements CARF standards including all annual reporting and required written documentation to maintain CARF compliance
- Works with leadership team to develop standardized reporting tools to pull data from PCC Quickmar Isolved Schedule Anywhere to support decision making
- Assists management team with preparing for residential program State inspections
- Works alongside residential management and therapeutic treatment teams to establish specific treatment plan goals and identify those goals in individual treatment plans
- Evaluates variances and other data to identify quality improvement opportunities and risk management issues
- Creates and implements policies and procedures as it relates to the overall quality improvement program
- Provides staff ongoing in-service training
- Provides updates as needed and requested
- Will serve as a member of the Leadership Team
- Performs other duties assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration or other relevant program; Masters degree preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in residential care setting
- Training or certification in Quality Improvement Risk Management or Compliance
- Experience with CARF standards and regulatory compliance preferred
- Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of office equipment and office administration procedures
- Attention to detail in composing typing and proofing materials establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Willing to work non-standard flexible hours if needed.
- Computer skills- including advanced level of utilizing Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to prepare and deliver written and oral presentations.
- Able to work within a diverse team and maintain positive professional relationships with all.

Physical Requirements:
- Frequent driving between NeuLife residential homes vocational programs and community locations
- Exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions when traveling between NeuLife locations
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
- Ability to bend stoop twist and reach without restrictions
- Ability to lift push pull or transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist with emergency evacuations when necessary
- May require evening weekend or holiday availability
