The role includes the expectation to manage state compliance federal funding personnel lifecycles and the integration of emerging technologies to ensure student success and to help guide teachers and principals in their instructional practices of our Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstructional Leadership & Academic Oversight Curriculum & Programs: Oversee all district-wide curriculum programs including the formal textbook adoption process and the integration of digital resources. Assessment & Data: Serve as the District Testing Coordinator. Manage state testing CogAT NWEA MAP and TerraNova. Targeted Instruction: Lead data collection efforts to drive instructional shifts specifically focusing on Value-Added/Roster Verification and the RIMP process collaboration. Professional Development: Design and implement district-wide PD including specific Instructional Focus PD for building administrators. Gifted Services: Serve as the Gifted Coordinator managing the gifted identification process and ensuring service & Financial Management Federal Programs: Expertly navigate grant writing CCIP/One Funding and mandatory nonpublic consultation. Compliance: Ensure all Title IX regulations and Compliance/Monitoring standards are met. EMIS data collection collaboration. Operations: Manage the district calendar student/district fees and provide building principal coverage as needed. Systems: Lead the implementation of Public Schoolworks and manage OhioES setup for LEA evaluations (OTES OPES OSCES).Personnel & Human Capital In conjunction with the Superintendent Treasurer Central Office Administration and school staff helps lead all aspects of the hiring and on-boarding process. Contract Management: Participates in certified/classified contract negotiations. Manages vital aspects of human resources including salary advancement coursework approval continuing contract review and personnel guidance. Committee Leadership: Integral member of the LPDC Field Trip Committee and AI Committee. Serve as an adjunct professor for internal certified PD Collaboration & Communication Cabinet Level: Participate in executive-level decision-making and strategic planning. Community Engagement: Acts as a primary consultant/organizer for the community newsletter and social media. Professionalism: Deliver high-stakes professional presentations/communication to the Board of Education and Education: Masters Degree in Educational Leadership or Curriculum and Instruction. Licensure: Valid State Administrative and/or Superintendent License. Experience: Prior administrative experience. Building Principal or Central Office is highly preferred. Proven track record in problem-solving within a complex school environment. Experience with Ohio-specific systems (CCIP Compliance Monitoring Data Collection OhioES) is highly sought. Gifted licensure or the gifted process is highly preferred.
