Field Service Engineer
Background information / responsibilities
The primary focus areas for the Field Service Engineer are the Flight Simulation and Automotive Test products. You will provide technical support for a broad range of Moog products and systems with the backup of a great team. Mechanical hands-on activities are an important part of the job including maintenance and overhauls. It is expected that you will be able to service electro-mechanical and electrohydraulic technologies. Many systems are mechatronic and contain a significant amount of software.
The Field Service Engineer represents Moog while visiting customers and you are expected to provide customer centric support and foster strong customer relationships. Solving a customer problem as a specialist is both enjoyable and rewarding. While working with or visiting customers commercial opportunities are often identified so you work closely with the sales team to support the development of proposals.
Due to the nature of the business the Field Service Engineer must be able to work under machine breakdown conditions and provide incidental extended support hours.
