WHAT WILL YOU DO

As a Sales Engineer your role contributes to the business growth by being responsible for all technical aspects with top system integrator large end customers and consultants in close collaboration with the salesteam in Western will be accountable for defining the best solutions to increase the business on targeted partners and end customers. Your role in the organization is to develop technical complex projects together with different internal departments and support the growth of our business in your territories. Education is also a key activity in the Sales Engineering department and youll be responsible for delivering official Academy and tailored training within the territory. The responsibilities include field inter-departmental and direct partner and customer proactive approach.

The role involves domestic and international travels.

Apart from above mentioned tasks it will be your job to:

  • Design the best solution for each project by understanding the needs from the local end customers A&E and System Integrators perspective.
  • Always act as a trusted technical advisor both internal and externally.
  • Influence on large tenders and RFP/RFQ process with the local market.
  • Responsible to develop and present Axis solutions with high technical standards.
  • Define together with the related Key Account Manager the best strategy to better position Axis at all levels in the territory.
  • Be accountable to maintain and develop contact with technical key decision makers from large corporations (system integrators and end customers).
  • Learn keep updated and collaborate with local and global technology partners.
  • Understand the full solutions not only the Axis products but also complementary such as networking analytics software hardware and services.
  • Understand competitive landscape for each solution and follow-up each project with the technical customers.
  • Promote pilots and proof of concept implementations linked to projects and opportunities.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a focused and self-motivated team player with a technical background within IT and/or Physical Security. You will have the ability to hold inspiring presentations and demonstrations and to build strategic and trustworthy relationships at all levels. You high business acumen and knows how to prioritize accordingly.

You will have experience in pre-sales B2B technical project-based work within the security market alternatively within the IT channel and have knowledge in network technologies and applications. You will have the technical confidence to setup and demonstrate complex solutions within Network surveillance and solutions. Knowledge of VMS software is an advantage. You are used to complex project management in a fast-paced environment. You possess good analytical and organizational skills. Finally you are creative curious and passionate for technology.

Apart from this you have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in a similar sales engineering role
  • Experience in the physical security or IT market
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Extensive experience in the B2B market
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure is a plus
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
