About the Role
As a KS2 Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum helping pupils develop key academic and personal skills during this important stage of their education.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching across the KS2 curriculum including English Maths Science and foundation subjects

• Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons that promote curiosity and independent thinking

• Monitoring pupil progress through assessment feedback and targeted support

• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported

• Differentiating learning to support pupils of varying abilities and needs

• Contributing to curriculum development and collaborative planning within the department

• Supporting school events enrichment activities and the wider life of the school

• Maintaining strong communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or PGCE with a primary education specialism

• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum

• Be enthusiastic creative and passionate about teaching and learning

• Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• Be committed to supporting pupil development both academically and pastorally
