Job Summary
A highly academic yet inclusive all-through school in Winchester is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to lead and develop its SEND provision from September.

About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee SEND provision across the school working closely with senior leaders teachers parents and external agencies to ensure students with additional needs are fully supported.
The role will involve:
Leading and developing the schools SEND strategy and provision
Coordinating EHCPs support plans and targeted interventions
Monitoring student progress and ensuring effective support strategies are in place
Supporting staff in delivering inclusive teaching practices
Liaising with parents external professionals and local authorities
Ensuring full compliance with SEND legislation and safeguarding procedures
You will play a key role in ensuring that the schools inclusive ethos is embedded across all phases of the school.

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or willingness to complete
Strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive education
Experience coordinating interventions and supporting students with additional needs
Excellent organisational leadership and communication skills
