A respected independent school in Reading is seeking a reliable and proactive Premises Officer to join its site team on a permanent basis with an ASAP start.

About the Role
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management and upkeep of the school buildings and grounds ensuring the site remains safe secure and well presented.
The role will involve:
Carrying out general maintenance repairs and basic DIY tasks
Supporting the upkeep of school buildings grounds and facilities
Assisting with health and safety checks and site inspections
Supporting contractors and monitoring works carried out on site
Assisting with site security including opening and closing the premises
Helping with the setup of school events and activities
You will work as part of a small and supportive premises team to maintain high standards across the site.

The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in a premises maintenance or caretaking role
Practical skills in basic maintenance and DIY
Understanding of health and safety procedures
