Job Mission

As Commercial Finance Analyst youll sit within the CFO organisation and partner closely with the business to drive commercial excellence and long-term value creation. This role complements FP&A by taking financial insight out of spreadsheets and into real decisions - helping teams across Tibber understand what truly drives revenue margin and profitability.

In a fast-scaling data-rich energy business we need someone who is equally comfortable with numbers ambiguity and constructive challenge. This is a hands-on business-facing role for someone who thrives at the intersection of analysis strategy and execution.

Youll work closely with commercial product growth and operations teams to improve pricing investments and performance - while collaborating with FP&A to ensure alignment between plans forecasts and commercial reality.

What youll do

Partner with business leaders across Tibber as a trusted financial and commercial sparring partner
Drive commercial and performance analysis across revenue margin unit economics pricing and profitability
Support strategic initiatives and investments through financial modelling scenario analysis and business cases
Challenge assumptions and highlight trade-offs to improve decision-making and outcomes
Analyse performance by product customer segment market or initiative to identify value drivers and risks
Support pricing discounting and commercial structure decisions
Track and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives ensuring accountability and learning
Collaborate closely with FP&A to connect forecasts and plans with actionable commercial insights
Contribute to building a strong finance business partnering culture across the organisation.

What were looking for

We believe youre a curious and analytical problem-solver who enjoys being close to the business and influencing decisions. Youre driven by impact comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by turning insight into action rather than just reporting results. You likely bring:

Background in FP&A commercial finance analytics or consulting
Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to structure complex problems
Experience in pricing unit economics or growth analysis
A business-partnering mindset - confident challenging stakeholders constructively
Comfort working with imperfect data in fast-moving environments
Clear and pragmatic communication skills especially with non-finance stakeholders
A collaborative proactive and outcome-oriented approach
Fluency in English

Experience in subscription-based product-led or multi-market businesses is a strong plus as is exposure to pricing unit economics or growth-related analysis.
