About the Opportunity
A well-established law firm is seeking a management-side Labor & Employment Associate to join its employment law practice. This role involves a balanced mix of employment litigation and advisory work for employers. The position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters including discrimination harassment retaliation wrongful termination and wage & hour cases.
Core Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of employment litigation matters including discrimination harassment retaliation wrongful termination and wage & hour disputes

Handle discovery processes including drafting and responding to discovery requests and conducting depositions
-
Draft pleadings motions and legal briefs
-
Prepare for hearings and represent clients before courts and administrative agencies
-
Advise employers on federal state and local employment law compliance
-
Draft employment policies procedures and employee handbooks
-
Provide strategic employment law counsel to business clients
Required Qualifications
-
3 5 years of labor and employment law experience
-
Experience representing employers (management-side experience preferred)
-
Strong litigation background including drafting pleadings and motions
-
Experience handling discovery and depositions
-
Active bar admission and good standing
