Role :- Network Security L3 Associate Consultant Firewall/Proxy

Location :- King of Prussia PA Onsite

Job description: - Network Security L3 Associate Consultant Firewall/Proxy

• Implementing and maintaining Palo Alto/Zscaler/Prisma infrastructure.
• Hands on experience on Palo Alto Firewall is must
• Handling critical escalation and driving P1/P2
• Preparing Monthly/Weekly reports and mentoring team mates
• Provisioning firewall policies based on consultation with customer and running Improvement plans to regularly cleanup unused policies
• Understanding/Identifying risks and driving them to closure with remediation plans
• Following threat advisories and providing necessary fix based on OEM suggestions
• Providing on-going support & Troubleshooting firewall VPN IPS & Proxy infrastructure problems.
• Troubleshooting firewall Proxy & Threat Protection problems as reported by customers.
• 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience on security domain managing Security Infrastructure

Required skills:

• Experience with Firewall & Network such as Switching Routing IPSEC VPNs Tunnelling and Security.
• Ensure all network security rules are configured according to least privileged access and best practices following standards. Access controls and firewall rulesets must be in place to ensure that users and Services only have access to the Networks they are authorized to use.
• Remediation of network security compliance reports generated daily including the deviation of security standards configurations on a global scale.
• Performing device replacements and firmware upgrades when required as part of troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting customer authentication incidents (Most common incident from users nowadays).
• Monitoring performance and availability of firewall devices using Customer Network Monitoring Tools
• Good knowledge and troubleshooting skill on Firewalls and Proxy
• Good hands-on experience in administration of Zscaler proxy solution i.e. Zscaler Client connector Traffic forwarding authentication & Security policy configuration

Key Responsibilities:-

The key responsibility is to manage and administrate core security components like Firewalls Proxy & Threat Protection. Monitoring of all services is important to ensure all services are up and running. Faster troubleshooting skill to analyze and provide fix at the earliest to user reported incidents.
