Position: CT Technologist (Cat Scan Technician)
Location: McMinnville OR 97128 (on-site)
Shift: Full-Time Nights
Schedule: 36 hours/week
What Youll Do
You will perform CT imaging procedures and deliver high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety comfort and compliance with standards of practice.
Essential Functions
- Review patient history and provider orders prior to imaging.
- Educate patients on procedures equipment and exam expectations to support cooperation and understanding.
- When ordered prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
- Monitor patient condition throughout the exam and respond to changes appropriately.
- Prepare equipment and supplies; select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
- Follow safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
- Troubleshoot resolve and/or report equipment malfunctions as needed.
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze images for quality and identify issues that may impact diagnostic results.
- Take appropriate action to resolve image-quality issues (including repositioning and repeating images when necessary).
- Enter transmit and report scan results in accordance with site protocols.
Must-Haves
- Associates degree (or higher)
- Current Radiation Operator license in the state of Oregon
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
