Job Summary

Position: CT Technologist (Cat Scan Technician)

Location: McMinnville OR 97128 (on-site)

Shift: Full-Time Nights

Schedule: 36 hours/week

What Youll Do

You will perform CT imaging procedures and deliver high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety comfort and compliance with standards of practice.

Essential Functions

Review patient history and provider orders prior to imaging.
Educate patients on procedures equipment and exam expectations to support cooperation and understanding.
When ordered prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
Monitor patient condition throughout the exam and respond to changes appropriately.
Prepare equipment and supplies; select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
Follow safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
Troubleshoot resolve and/or report equipment malfunctions as needed.
Position patients and perform imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
Analyze images for quality and identify issues that may impact diagnostic results.
Take appropriate action to resolve image-quality issues (including repositioning and repeating images when necessary).
Enter transmit and report scan results in accordance with site protocols.

Must-Haves

Associates degree (or higher)
Current Radiation Operator license in the state of Oregon
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
