Assignment Details

Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Meal Break: 30 Minutes

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

About the Job

Bellaken Garden is seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment in Oakland this role you will evaluate diagnose and treat patients with speech language voice fluency cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized treatment plans that support communication safety and improved quality of life.

This opportunity is ideal for therapists who are patient-focused clinically strong and comfortable working in a collaborative rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients for speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication and swallowing function
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Educate patients families and caregivers on therapy goals and home strategies
Collaborate with physicians nurses therapists and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with facility standards
