Job Description:
As aLead Procurement Professional you will drive high-impact supply chain initiatives and project management with minimal oversight. You will architectnegotiation strategies managecomplex contracts and mitigate company risk through expert legal and commercial analysis. Manage high-impactprocurement portfoliosandstrategic project initiativeswith full autonomy. You will serve as a lead expertdriving process improvementsand influencing organizational change through clear communication with internal and external stakeholders. This role requiresadvanced professional judgmentto apply supply chain theories mitigate risk and mentor team members while ensuring strict policy compliance.
Essential Functions:
- Procurement Execution- Performs fundamental procurement activities including acquisition of materials components and services at realistic and competitive prices which meet schedule safety and quality standards.
- Perform price/cost analysis- use multiple analysis techniques to determine if pricing is fair and reasonable and document analysis results.
- Negotiation- develop negotiation strategies and lead supplier negotiations.
- Contract Administration and Project Management- Administers complex contracts and manages them through the project life cycle.
- Relationship Management- Establishes strong partnership with the internal L3Harris customers to understand the business needs and objectives.
- Performance Management- Use performance data to track and analyze vendor performance generate reports as required provide operational oversight assess and execute penalties or incentives per contract terms. Identify issues and opportunities and provide recommendations for performance improvement and when necessary implement action plans accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant procurement experience. Graduate degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related procurement lieu of a degree a minimum of 13 years of prior related procurement experience.
- 4 to 7 years of government buying experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience working with FAR Requirements and Government Purchasing.
- Experience creating and managing long term agreements.
- Experience placing POs for software equipment facilities buildings.
- Familiarity with Cyber Security and protecting CUI.
