What Youll Do
The Integration Support Specialist (ISS) is a position designed to support all functions within Mission Integration including Integration Managers (IMs) Value Stream Organization Specialists (VSOs) and Control Account Managers (CAMs) within Mission Integration.
When supporting the VSOs the ISS will focus on continuous improvement initiatives and mission delivery for Production & Operations. This role is dynamic and involves interaction with various levels of staff and support organizations to identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable solutions. The ISS will support the Tiered Escalation process tactical digital modernization projects 5S activities and development of tools for visualizing performance and tracking metrics for data-driven decisions. The ISS will also coordinate mission-critical initiatives and maintain a customer-focused mindset.
When supporting the IMs the ISS will assist with tactical day-to-day support to achieve mission deliverables contributing to the development of the Annual Cost Baseline (ACB) and long-term staffing plans. They would also serve as an interface with Program Integration to define and manage deliverables. The role would involve ensuring correct charging guidance for personnel and assisting with data analysis monthly forecasting and reporting. They would support the on-boarding process to include developing interview packets interviewing and hiring resources. Also they will manage and track metrics and budgets to stay within the boundaries of each fiscal year requirements to meet day-to-day operations while forecasting strategical plans to keep metrics and budget at or below targets.
When supporting the CAMs the ISS will assist in managing Life Extension Programs (LEP) program scope across multiple capability areas by ensuring the integration and execution of stockpile program deliverables while managing financial performance and fostering collaborative teamwork. This would include providing data analysis for monthly Earned Value status and Variance Analysis Reports (VARs) as well as assisting the Program Managers and CAMs with leading projects to remove barriers/risks impacting the ability to complete the scope.
Accountabilities for the ISS would be to their manager and director for implementing initiatives and providing designated support; to Mission Integration leadership for managing tools for efficient escalation and setting improvement; and to employees for implementing improvements removing frustrations and enhancing productivity.

- Bachelors degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- OR Masters degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- OR PhD.
