We currently have a permanent vacancy; your main base will be Dunfermline Learning Campus but may be required to work at a school in the Dunfermline area.

  • Mobile Cleaner - 20 hours per week Monday to Friday as required 40 week contract. Working between 3:00pm to 7:30pm as required.

You will earn a competitive salary of 24740.74 pro-rata and annualised payments with access to a range of benefits including:

  • We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of 13.18 per hour for this post plus extra payments for shift work including weekends.
  • Travel expenses will be paid we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.
  • Pay is 4 weekly.

This work is about ensuring staff and pupils can return to a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

The Person

No previous experience is required as on the job training is given.

Ability to provide a regular and effective service working alone or as part of a team.

Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work - a current driving licence is desirable.

You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.

Before confirming to your appointment you willbe requiredto obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
