Job Advert: School Cleaner (Evening Shift) YO24 Area
Location: YO24
Hours: 30 hours per week / 6 hour shifts
Shift: Evenings / Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour
Contract Type: Part-time / Temporary to Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a school in the YO24 area. Youll play an important part in maintaining a clean hygienic and safe environment for students staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms corridors offices and communal spaces
- Sanitising toilets and washrooms
- Vacuuming sweeping mopping and general dusting
- Emptying bins and managing waste appropriately
- Replenishing consumables such as soap and paper towels
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely
- Following all health & safety and safeguarding procedures
About You
- Ideally you will have an Enhanced DBS
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Reliable punctual and trustworthy
- Professional and positive attitude
- Must pass (or be willing to undergo) an enhanced DBS check
