Heres how a Labour Relations Coordinator for PCL Industrial Constructors Inc. within Edmonton Industrial contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Sourcing screening and selecting Craft/Trades applicants to fit project-specific requirements
- Extendingoffers and completingall related correspondence and onboarding requirements for skilled craft
- Assistingwith the placement of skilled labour including transfers between projects and updating labour tracking systems accordingly
- Analyzing understanding and applyinglabour agreements
- Assisting in the site mobilization of successful Craft/Trades personnel
- Verifying Technical and Safety Qualifications
- Performing administrative duties such as scanning tracking completing forms and taking meeting minutes.
- Creating and maintaining confidential hard and electronic files
- Fostering positive relationships with colleagues clients Building Trade organizations and subcontractors
- Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders as required anddevelopingand maintainingstrong customer-focused relationships with key stakeholders and all decision-makers
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in labour relations or related field preferred
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly fast-paced environment
- Be able to navigate the various Microsoft Office applications proficiently
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills high level of detail orientation and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines
- Be able to shift priorities seamlessly have a keen eye for detailand beable to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- We appreciate that non-traditional career paths may have developed a candidates competency and alternate combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Previous experience in labour relations and unionized environments (Preferred)
- Previous Craft/Trade recruitment experience (Preferred)
