Position overview:
We are recruiting an Electrical & Instrumentation Apprentice or an Electrical Apprentice.
This role will report to the Lead Electrician.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work within the plants Health and Safety rules at all times.
- Learn and gain an understanding of the manufacturing process.
- To become fully qualified in chosen craft Electrical & Instrumentation.
- Develop the skills to assist in the plants preventative maintenance process.
- Assist with breakdown repairs and project work.
- Develop problem solving and fault finding skills.
- Build and develop team working skills and the ability to interact and work in partnership with other functions.
What are we looking for
- Essential: 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice.
- Previous work experience in chosen area is essential.
- Demonstrated interest in engineering or electronics.
- Working knowledge of computer systems and databases (Microsoft Office).
- Have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to become a team player.
- Good interpersonal skills and a self-starter.
- Full driving license required.
