L3Harris is seeking an experienced Program Finance Manager to lead a highperforming finance team within a key business area. This role is a strategic partner to the Business Area Director responsible for driving financial performance shaping strategy and fostering a culture where people and processes continually improve.
You will oversee all aspects of program financial management from P&L performance to forecasting EVMS and pricing while developing a strong engaged finance organization. The ideal candidate brings leadership maturity critical thinking and the ability to collaborate effectively across Program Management Operations and Engineering.
Essential Functions:
- Partner with the Business Area Director to drive financial strategy and deliver performance across orders sales operating income and cash
- Translate financial insights into clear recommendations that influence senior leaders and crossfunctional stakeholders
- Ensure compliance and accuracy of timephased budgets schedules and Earned Value (EV) reporting
- Provide weekly analysis of performance drivers and forecast impacts
- Lead talent development efforts: set clear goals create accountability and build an engaged highperforming team
- Allocate talent and resources to support current business needs and improvement initiatives
- Champion continuous improvement and streamline processes aligned to business objectives
- Establish and track KPIs to monitor performance and drive operational excellence
- Partner with proposal teams to ensure accurate pricing and proactive management of risks and opportunities
- Communicate expectations and ensure consistent application of company policies
- Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with strong attention to detail
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area. May have in-depth knowledge of project management.
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to adapt financial processes to evolving regulations and business conditions
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven leadership experience in finance within the defense industry including oversight of complex programs and strategic financial initiatives
- Experience with SAP
- Familiarity with COBRA and other EVMS toolsets
- Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Advanced Excel skills
