Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and drivenProduction Supervisorto oversee daily production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. TheProduction Supervisorwill be responsible for enforcing safety and USDA regulations maintaining production schedules and ensuring all product quality standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader ready to guide teams and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Enforceplant safety rulesandUSDA plant regulations
Ensure compliance with allcompany state and federal employment laws
Develop and adjustproduction schedulesto meet customer demands
Maintain proper rotation ofraw and marinated inventory
Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards
Ensureon-time startupsand schedule completion
Overseeaccurate and timely timekeepingfor staff
Plan and trackrepairs and maintenancefor all equipment
Plan and manage allwork orders
Complete special projects as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
TheProduction Supervisorwill supervise hourly employees overseeing direction coordination and performance evaluations. Responsibilities include:
Interviewing hiring and training employees
Assigning and directing daily work
Evaluating performance
Rewarding and disciplining team members
Resolving complaints and addressing problems
Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors degreein a related field preferred but not required
5 years of supervisory experiencein meat processing food manufacturing or related industry
Knowledge ofmeat processing safety and quality standards
Strongleadershipcommunication andproblem-solving skills
Ability to work in afast-paced and physically demandingenvironment
Familiarity withproduction equipment and processes
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office(Word Excel Outlook)
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
