IQVIA is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial activity for a portfolio of specialty medicines on behalf of one of our pharmaceutical partners. This role provides the opportunity to take responsibility for multiple countries operating within a complex matrix environment and working closely with both IQVIA and partner stakeholders.
Territory scope: Belgium Luxembourg Netherlands and Portugal
The role has oversight of a multicountry team of Specialty Sales Representatives with accountability for performance execution and team development across defined markets. The portfolio sits within specialty care spanning immunology gastroenterology and dermatology and is promoted primarily within specialist healthcare settings.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for translating overarching brand and portfolio strategies into effective regional execution ensuring consistent compliant delivery while adapting to local market needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coach and develop a regional team of Specialty Sales Representatives operating across multiple countries
- Own regional performance against sales activity and quality KPIs
- Implement national and regional strategies in line with partner objectives and portfolio priorities
- Drive consistent execution while allowing for appropriate local market adaptation
- Partner closely with Sales Marketing Medical Market Access Training and Operations teams
- Monitor performance using CRM data and field insights taking corrective action where required
- Support talent development succession planning and capability building across the region
- Ensure all activity is conducted in full compliance with local laws partner requirements and industry codes of practice
Experience
- Essential: Minimum 5 years experience in pharmaceutical field sales (specialty / secondary care preferred)
- Essential: Minimum 2 years experience in field sales people management (leading a field team)
- Essential: Strong coaching performancemanagement and execution capability
- Essential: Ability to operate effectively in a matrix and across multiple stakeholders
- Essential: Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in life sciences business or a related discipline
- Desirable: Experience in immunology gastroenterology or dermatology
- Desirable: Multicountry / cluster leadership experience
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally qualified to work in the country of employment
- Fluent in the local native language and businesslevel English
- Valid driving licence
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time across assigned countries
