The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAPs global strategic paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; its the foundation for a career built on connection creativity and impact.

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Technical Program Management

Location:Hybrid - Palo Alto

Expected start date to end date: March 2026

Working hours:Full time 40 hrs./week

SAP SuccessFactors is seeking aniXP Intern - Technical Program Managerlocated in Palo Alto (or San Ramon) US who will be expected to assist with managing technology project(s).

Position will work with designers researchers product managers engineers and extended team members to drive product excellence and facilitate the successful delivery of experiences that are intuitive engaging and aligned with the SAP SuccessFactors vision and strategy. Need to be self-motivated and ownership-minded will be charged with coordinating and managing project workstreams ensuring predictability and healthy partnerships within the organization.

Candidate will need to demonstrate sound prioritization organization communication and problem-solving skills. Must be detail-oriented have a common understanding of project management methodologies and product life cycles desire to work in a cross-functional matrix environment of technical resources and possess the ability to balance multiple tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist the development and implementation of a technical project (workstream) within Product Engineering ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Design (UX) Product Management Engineering Operations and Security.
  • Utilize standard project management processes to establish charters define plans monitor success criteria (KPIs) and manage interdependencies.
  • Foster transparency organization and accountability to project workstreams across multiple teams and organizations.
  • Lead and/or support project status meetings and progress reporting ensuring workstream ownership associated with deliverables dependencies and risks.
  • Manage and mitigate challenges assisting to guide teams through ambiguity and unexpected situations.
  • Conduct retrospective reviews to evaluate project performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Education: currently pursuing Business Economics and related fields
  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp apprenticeship associate bachelors masters or JD/PhD program
  • Ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills strong communication abilities and a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment. Expertise in the Data Analytics or AI domain is a plus
