Our Deals Advisory Practice helps businesses realise the potential of their mergers acquisitions and divestitures and capital markets with a global network of industry experts coupled with data-driven insights. Corporates are under significant pressure to change their businesses and operating models due to the macro-economic and geopolitical landscape increasing competition and ongoing revenue pressures. We are expanding our team to support the increasing demand from our clients across a broad range of sectors to transform their operations. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients as well as collaborate with leading practitioners across the Deals Strategy& and Consulting practices within the Firm.

As a Senior Associate / Manager in the team you will support the delivery of operational restructuring assignments across high-profile clients including cost reduction cash and working capital management and other performance improvement initiatives. You will apply your analytical capabilities and communication skills to assist in driving operational changes and supporting financial turnarounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of client data and operations under guidance
  • Assist in assessing and testing financial positions and forecasts
  • Collaborate with management and senior team members to develop and implement turnaround operational improvement and cost reduction projects
  • Support strategic planning activities including business case development and scenario testing
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining programme management offices
  • Support stakeholder management and relationship development efforts
  • Prepare presentations and reports for client and internal stakeholders
  • Manage specific deliverables monitor project risks and contribute to project economics under supervision
  • Contribute to team knowledge sharing and development by coaching junior colleagues
  • Support business development activities including proposal preparation and client engagements

The role will be based in Singapore but requires flexibility to travel throughout the region depending on client requirements.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Typically 5-8 years of experience supporting cost reduction or transformation programs across various sectors
  • Experience working within a reputable consulting firm or in a relevant industry role
  • Industry operational experience is an advantage
  • Formal financial qualifications are desirable but not essential (CIMA CPA CFA ICEAW or equivalent)
  • Strong financial analytical skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Good report and presentation writing skills including Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Exposure to complex stakeholder environments is preferred
  • Commercial awareness and eagerness to contribute to marketing business development and proposal efforts
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI and Alteryx is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work to tight deadlines in dynamic environments
  • A proactive collaborative team player who can work independently when required
