Role overview
This is afoundational leadership role;the work hereimpactshow every product customer and partner experiences Kaseya. Role willberesponsible forbuilding and executing the strategy for Kaseyas unified intelligence experience and customer data platform.This leader will drive the creation of a centralized data platform that powers insights automation and personalization across Kaseyas product portfolio and key cross product workflows enabling MSPs and their customers to make data-driven decisions at scale. The role requires definingand executingthe vision for how Kaseya leverages customer data telemetry and AI/ML tocreate competitive differentiation improve customer experiences and unlock new revenue opportunities.
This position demandsdeep technicalexpertisein data platformsAPIanalytics and AI/ML capabilities combined with strategic product thinking and cross-functional Director will work closely withproduct security legal sales andmarketingteams across the organization to build foundational capabilities that become force multipliers for the entire platform.

- Define shape and clearly communicate our long-termData API&AI Strategy vision and roadmap.
- Build and scaleDataAPIand AI capabilities as core product differentiators.
- Provide thought leadership in thedesign architecture and execution of the platform ecosystemand ensure platforms areoptimizedfor performance scalabilitycostand reliability.
- Set the bar for ourengineering cultureencouraging the development of best practices holding teams accountable for slippage and improving processes.
- Orchestratealignment across Product Engineering GTM and Trust.
- Driveplatform modernizationto reduce tech debt and accelerate innovation velocity.
- Executeclearcommercial and technical KPIsacross a large portfolio.
- Shape the next chapter of Kaseyas platformstrategy andwork with creators of open-source software likeArgo and .
What We Look For
- 15 years of experience in data engineeringAI/ML APIand Identityplatformplatform engineering or related fields with deepexpertisein designing and building distributed data systemsand applied AI.
- Proven leadership (in a prior Director level role strongly preferred) building and leading high-performing global engineering teams balancing short-term execution with long-term strategic growth.
- Extensive experience in building and scaling cloud-native architectures (AWS Azure GCP) for dataAPIand AI platforms with a strong focus on high availability fault tolerance and cost-efficiency.
- Demonstrated success in growing and evolving dataand AIplatforms to meet the needs of a rapidly scaling business ensuring data-driven decisions are made at all levels of the organization.
- Strong strategic mindset translating businessobjectivesinto scalable technical solutions that deliver value across the by delivering customer value and impact.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills driving impactful solutions across engineering product and business teams.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors or equivalent experience.
