Job Description:

The candidate will serve as a communications FSR for program aircraft ground sites and support equipment with responsibilities including but not limited to command and mission communications and information systems.

Essential Functions:

Support aircraft launch / recovery provide engineering and technical support to both Operations and Maintenance toward the resolution of system issues and provide logistics support when needed.
Complete field team repairs and modifications on program aircraft and components.
Supporting imaging and configuration of program assets FAA return to service of program components configuration management informal training engineering drawing and technical publications interpretation.
Interface with the Customer Users and subcontractors as required in support of program requirements.
Occasional overtime along with dayshift swing shift and rotating on-call for nights and weekends are required.
Ability to work in a demanding environment.
Working knowledge of aircraft communications systems and ground systems.
Troubleshoot aircraft communications systems.
Configuring troubleshooting and testing of aircraft and mission communications systems.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree with six (6) years of aircraft mission communications systems maintenance and modification experience.
Graduate Degree with four (4) years of aircraft mission communications systems maintenance and modification experience.
In lieu of a degree minimum of ten (10) years of aircraft mission communications systems maintenance and modification experience.
Must have an active Top Secret DoD Clearance with SCI eligibility at the time of hire.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience in a military environment and use of military Vehicle Maintenance Forms.
Technical and aircraft wiring diagram experience.
Visio experience.
