Hants Community Hospital is seeking locum hospitalist physicians during a period of active recruitment.
Travel expenses including kilometrage per diems accommodations (up to $300 per night) and airfare (up to $1500) are reimbursed along with travel time up to 10 hours per week.
Qualifications :
- All applicants must be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia(CPSNS)
- All specialists must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada(RCPSC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association(CMPA)
- Active with admitting privileges at Central Zone- Hants site via NSH Credentialing Committee
- All applicants must have up to date ACLS certification
- Membership in the Society of Hospital Medicine Canadian Chapter is encouraged
- Academic teaching appointment with Dalhousie University is an asset
