Job Summary
The Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Professional with a strong combination of technical payroll expertise and accounting fundamentals. The ideal candidate will have experience managing payroll across Singapore India China Australia and Japan so experience in any of these countries is what were looking for.
- Prepare and process payrolls for employees in the APAC & EMEA.
- Ensure the timely delivery of semi-monthly and monthly payroll files.
- Work closely with the People Operations (HR) and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy of the payroll data. Including but not limited to data related to new hires terminations transfers variable compensation inputs and job information changes.
- Review employees expense reports.
- Maintain the updated employee information in our tools (Expensify and Netsuite).
- Carry out communication with Finance and payroll providers creating and maintaining files as needed.
- Ensure stock based compensation activity is accurately captured in employees pay profiles and related taxes are remitted to tax authorities.
- Participate in month-end quarter-end and year-end closing tasks.
- Support the execution of annual statutory audits pursuant to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act as well as regional internal and external audits ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the timely delivery of audit documentation and responses.
- Support other members of the finance team as needed.
Qualifications :
Heres what we are looking for:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field.
3 years of payroll experience in APAC countires
Strong accounting knowledge including: Payroll reconciliations Journal entries Month-end close support
MUST have experience in ADP
Experience working within a SOX-controlled environment and understanding of internal controls.
Knowledge of labor laws social security regulations and payroll tax compliance.
Experience with NetSuite or similar cloud-based ERP systems.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
