Job Summary
We are looking for a Python Software Engineer to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining dataprocessing solutions used across a large telecommunications environment. Your work will focus on building Python-based modules that load transform and analyze network data as well as supporting tools for monitoring reporting and SLA-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new Python modules for processing data from telecommunications networks.
Build and maintain software supporting network quality monitoring reporting and SLA calculations.
Create and optimize Python scripts responsible for loading and transforming data in Oracle databases.
Participate in ongoing transformation projects within the technical environment.
Support and maintain existing solutions in production.
Occasional on-call support (24/7) typically one week per month. This rotation is currently inactive and has not been required for the past three years; it may be introduced in the future although the likelihood is low. Readiness to participate if activated is required
Qualifications :
Hands-on experience with Python programming.
Strong knowledge of SQL preferably with Oracle.
Ability to work comfortably in Linux environments.
Solid analytical thinking and ability to collaborate within a team.
English & Polish (B2)
Nice to have:
Understanding of telecommunications networks and related concepts.
Experience with PostgreSQL Apache Kafka Kubernetes or Elasticsearch.
Familiarity with ETL processes or Data Warehouse concepts.
Ability to maintain and troubleshoot existing data-processing solutions.
