Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and software engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
Youll lead and develop a high-performing software development team ensuring excellence in Quality Cost and Delivery (QCD) commitments. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (e.g. architects technical leaders project managers) drive competence development through coaching and mentoring and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the long-term competitiveness of our software solutions.

Defining team goals assigning responsibilities and ensuring effective execution
Driving competence development training plans coaching and mentoring of team members
Conducting performance evaluations feedback and recognition according to Alstom processes
Ensuring alignment between workload and capacity including anticipation of future skills needs
Supporting project and program execution by overseeing planning workload distribution and reporting
Contributing to effort estimation quotations and validation of software activities
Supporting software architects and technical leaders in defining and implementing software architecture and design solutions

Degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or a related engineering discipline
Experience or understanding of software development and software engineering environments
Knowledge of software architecture and design solutions
Familiarity with software engineering processes methods and tools
Full professional proficiency in English
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
Ability to bridge management delivery and technical domains
Strong organizational prioritization and time-management skills
A continuous-improvement and collaboration-oriented attitude
