Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily workshop operations and production workflow
Allocate jobs and coordinate work for a team of 15 workshop employees
Ensure all products meet quality standards before dispatch
Coordinate material ordering and consumables tracking
Manage external contractors including powder coating and sand blasting providers
Coordinate and organise product dispatch
Monitor workflow and ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
Maintain general workshop organisation efficiency and safety

What Were Looking For

Previous experience in a Workshop Manager / Supervisor / Production Manager role
Experience working within fabrication manufacturing or engineering workshops
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Ability to manage production schedules and workflow
Strong attention to quality control and detail
Good computer skills
Experience with Xero (highly regarded)
Strong organisational and communication skills

About the Role

Hours:
Monday Thursday: 7:00am 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am 1:00pm
(38-hour week)
Team Environment:
Friendly and supportive team consisting of 15 workshop staff and 3 office staff
