Client Services Executive
Location: Southampton City Centre
Type: Permanent Full-Time Office Based
Working Pattern: Monday Friday (No Weekends)
Rafferty Resourcing is working in partnership with a growing and well-established business based in Southampton City Centre to recruit a Client Services Executive.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment enjoys speaking with people and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. The role sits within a small supportive team inside a larger expanding organisation.
This position has been designed as a long-term career pathway into Account Management. You will begin by learning the business from a customer service perspective building strong relationships with clients and understanding how the organisation operates day to day. Over time the role will evolve into managing and developing existing customer relationships with opportunities to take ownership of accounts as the business continues to grow.
This is not an admin-heavy role and not a call centre environment. While there are administrative elements involved the focus is on customer interaction relationship building and providing exceptional service to business clients.
The Role:
You will be the first point of contact for many customers providing friendly knowledgeable and professional support. Much of the role involves speaking with clients over the phone understanding their needs resolving queries and ensuring they receive an excellent experience every time they interact with the business.
Youll work closely with internal teams to ensure customer orders requests and enquiries are handled smoothly and efficiently.
This role would suit someone who is confident on the phone naturally personable and ambitious to grow into a client-facing commercial role in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key point of contact for customers handling incoming calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner
- Build strong relationships with business clients ensuring they receive exceptional levels of service
- Answer customer queries resolve issues and provide clear and helpful information
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare quotations and support the wider commercial team where required
- Follow up on customer enquiries and ensure requests are completed in a timely manner
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Develop a strong understanding of the business products and client needs
- Over time begin supporting and developing existing customer accounts as part of the pathway into account management
The Person:
- Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing office role
- Someone who is confident on the phone and enjoys speaking with people
- A natural ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers
- A proactive and ambitious individual who wants to develop into account management in the future
- Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a busy environment where customer service is the priority
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Additional Information:
- per year depending on experience
- Full-time permanent position
- Working hours rotate every two weeks:
Week 1 & 2: 8:00am 5:00pm
Week 3 & 4: 8:30am 5:30pm
Monday to Friday no weekend working - 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Contributory pension scheme (4.5% employee / 4.5% employer)
- Southampton city centre location (parking nearby approximately 810 per day)
