Required for Two Hills Mennonite School
A part-time (0.5 FTE) Mennonite Cultural Advocate is required for Two Hills Mennonite School commencing immediately.
Two Hills Mennonite School is a K-Grade 12 school located in Two Hills Alberta with approximately 450 students.
The successful candidate will promote Mennonite culture within the school and broader community while serving as a liaison between the school and its families.
The successful candidate will:
Strong knowledge of or lived experience within the Mennonite community is required along with experience or training in working with Low Germanspeaking students and families. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred as is post-secondary training in education cultural studies or community service. Experience working in a school setting would be considered an asset.

Geographically and demographically St. Paul Education covers a large rural/urban area in Northeast Alberta. We serve the communities of St. Paul Elk Point Two Hills Mallaig Ashmont Myrnam and Heinsburg. We also serve students from Saddle Lake Cree Nation Whitefish Lake First Nation #128 Frog Lake First Nation and Kehewin Cree Nation.
In 1995 parent and community stakeholders initiated the amalgamation of five school boards into what is now St. Paul doing so St. Paul Education became the only school division in Alberta to operate both separate and public schools under one board. The Divisions religious linguistic and cultural diversity is a source of strength and pride.
We serve 3627 students (K-12) including Catholic First Nation Mennonite Hutterite and Home Schooling learners. Our 19 definable school sites are staffed by approximately 230 FTE teaching staff and 300 support staff.
