Job Summary
Mobile HVAC/R Engineer
Location: Cleveland OH
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer to operate inspect and maintain HVAC refrigeration mechanical electrical and plumbing systems across assigned facilities. This role focuses on troubleshooting repairing and maintaining building and production equipment to ensure safe energy-efficient operations and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders for facility systems and equipment
Operate maintain and repair HVAC/R systems refrigeration equipment electrical distribution systems and plumbing
Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration and building systems
Conduct facility inspections and report conditions affecting operations
Perform interior and exterior building repairs including lighting fixtures walls flooring and roofing systems
Update work orders in real time using CMMS systems (such as Corrigo)
Submit daily P-card receipts and maintain accurate maintenance records
Maintain equipment knowledge and follow safety procedures
Participate in on-call or call-in work as required
Travel between assigned facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
Universal CFC Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
Minimum 4 years of building engineering experience with strong HVAC/R plumbing and electrical knowledge
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems
Valid state drivers license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using CMMS/work order systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Two years of trade school or a documented apprenticeship in HVAC refrigeration or electrical systems
