Job Summary
Role:
Lead and manage procurement process for all material and service requirements of MBD
Establish procurement processes including analyzing market reviewing supplier base setting pricing structure benchmarking with competitors and supplier management
Float RFPs to existing and potential suppliers in case of new material / service requirements
Oversee negotiations with approved suppliers for procurement within budget; closely monitor negotiations for high value purchases
Supervise smooth processing of procurement process including item codification supplier registration and data update in the system
Track and monitor spend data and identify areas for potential spend optimization
Execute strategic souring initiatives such as introducing new suppliers introducing new materials and negotiating long-term deals
Supervise raw material inwarding process including preparation of goods receipt report and other documentation physical checking of material upon receipt and storage of materials in appropriate internal locations
Monitor overall Materials activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
Lead and direct the continuous improvement of Materials departments systems processes and practices taking into account leading practices market standards and
changes in the business environment
Guide mentor and develop the Materials departments team to take larger and more complex responsibilities
Establish a high-performance working environment within the Materials department

Education & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent is required;
Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferred
