QA Test Manager UAT Lead – 14+ Years Experience

Job Title: QA Test Manager / UAT Lead 14 Years Experience

Location: Austin TX - (Onsite)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Perform highly advanced managerial tasks related to QA and testing activities as well as analysis and testing tasks related to software development and configuration
• Lead and oversee testing activities across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including planning analysis execution and reporting
• Analyze diagnose and resolve reported software problems while troubleshooting system issues for internal and external clients
• Define develop and review User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy for modernization projects and guide teams during Soft UAT activities
• Coordinate sprint review feedback with vendor staff and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Review and evaluate test cases provided by vendors collaborate with SMEs and recommend improvements
• Work directly with business users and SMEs to create update and execute test cases and produce detailed testing reports including pass/fail results defects and issues
• Act as the primary liaison between IT teams business users and vendor teams
• Lead defect triage activities and manage defect tracking prioritization and resolution
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring defects and identify improvement opportunities
• Provide weekly updates on UAT progress defect status and testing results
• Deliver testing-related project status updates including progress on requirement traceability and test coverage
• Ensure UAT exit criteria are satisfied and obtain final business sign-off for releases
• Document and report test results integration issues data conversion issues and Problem Incident Reports (PIRs)
• Oversee user acceptance performance accessibility interface security and data conversion testing
• Manage monitor and report on test activities across modern technology platforms
• Review update and develop test strategies test suites and test cases
• Coordinate schedules for testing teams testing activities and project meetings
• Provide training mentorship and guidance to QA and testing team members
• Utilize testing tools such as Jira TestSavvy JUnit Selenium MicroFocus UFT and SQL
• Use performance monitoring tools such as JProfiler JMeter or similar performance testing tools
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies with emphasis on QA and testing practices
• Apply excellent leadership communication planning organization and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Salesforce platforms is preferred
• Prior experience working with a Texas state agency in a QA Test Manager or similar role is preferred
• Experience serving as a team leader or project manager in QA/testing environments is preferred
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager
