How you will contribute to EveryPays vision:

We are expanding our Finance & Accounting team and seeking a talented Finance Manager!

The Finance Manager is responsible for the companys overall financial management ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records proper financial implementation of the payments regulatory framework (PSD2) and timely reliable financial reporting to Executive Management and supervisory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan monitor and dynamically revise budgets forecasts and cash flow projections to ensure adequate liquidity and financial stability.
• Analyze financial results and performance trends preparing structured and targeted reports to support business and strategic decision-making.
• Oversee accounting entries and coordinate the monthly and annual closing process ensuring accuracy consistency and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure proper financial implementation of PSD2 regulatory requirements with emphasis on their correct representation in financial statements and reporting.
• Prepare review and submit supervisory and regulatory reports to the Bank of Greece and support related supervisory reviews and audits.
• Manage working capital and cash position including the development and maintenance of effective banking relationships.
• Support Executive Management with financial analyses scenarios and business cases related to growth pricing and new products.
• Coordinate internal and external audits acting as the key point of contact for external auditors and supervisory bodies.
• Lead guide and develop the Finance team aiming to improve the quality of financial information and internal controls.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Economics Accounting Finance or a related field from a recognized academic institution.
• At least six (6) years of proven professional experience in a similar or related role with responsibility.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS.
• Excellent knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with Excel and modern ERP / financial reporting systems.
• Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification (ACCA ACA CFA or equivalent) is considered an important asset.
• Proven experience in preparing and submitting financial and supervisory reports to competent authorities.
• Experience in payments fintech or another technology-driven and highly regulated financial environment with exposure to complex financial flows and increased control requirements.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and/or data analysis languages (e.g. SQL) with the ability to leverage them for advanced financial analysis and reporting.
